Sharing Your Data With Us
Monday, February 13, 2012 by Wakeful Partners
At Wakeful Partners we take data security seriously and like to provide you with the peace of mind of knowing that any data you share with us will be treated as securely as possible. At the same time, we don’t want to make your job any more difficult, so we want to provide you with a mechanism to send us your data which is simple, quick & effective. It’s for this reason we use Hightail as our Service Provider for sharing data.
We’ve outlined everything you’ll need to know about how to share your data with us below, but if you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us.
How do I share data with Wakeful Partners?
Sharing data with us couldn’t be simpler. Ask us for access to our secure online form – where you can provide a short message and attach the files you want to send. Then all you do is click the the “Send” button! There’s a guide below to show how this looks.
: If you have multiple files that you need to send us, just zip them up using an archiving utility like WinZip
(Commercial) or 7Zip

Is my data being handled securely?
In short, absolutely! We wouldn’t have it any other way. But don’t take our word for it, have a read through the Hightail Seven-Layer Security Strategy to get a thorough run-down of the security measures their solution has in place.
Hightail services are used by over 40 Million registered users in over 193 different countries, and 98% of the Fortune 500. Sending your data through Hightail is perfectly safe, and in fact even more safe (and more efficient) then sending data by couriers, manually delivering data on an external storage device (e.g. USB stick) or using Secure FTP Services (that commonly don’t encrypt your data before storage – leaving your confidential information exposed).
Where can I get support?
If you are having difficulty trying to use the Hightail services, we’d encourage you to take a look at some of the resources below:
